Editorial Has potential
Zombie NTR Apocalypse is a well-crafted adult game with solid art, engaging character writing, and strong NTR narrative that lands effectively for its audience. The story of Havany's moral descent and the multiple endings give players real weight to their choices, and community sentiment shows genuine appreciation for the character work and scenario design. However, the game is hampered by a notorious pace problem: dialogue crawls at an glacial speed, with players reporting 15+ seconds per text box when the content should take seconds to read. Combined with no skip or fast-forward button, this makes replaying for alternate routes feel like torture, and many have abandoned the game specifically because of this friction. The build is also rough around the edges—save system limitations, occasional progression confusion (the "blue bar" / sanity mechanic is poorly explained), and some reports of scenes failing to load. On PC it runs, but expect friction; Android support via JoiPlay is not viable. For players patient with pacing and willing to tolerate a mid-development feel, the creative core is worth the investment; for others, the speed issue is a dealbreaker.
