The Taboo Family

A text-based survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world where a viral outbreak has transformed much of humanity into aggressive, lust-driven creatures. You are sheltered in your childhood home with five other survivors: your Mom, Dad, Sister, Girlfriend, and Grandpa. As the outside world descends into chaos, the relationships and dynamics within the house become the true battleground—one of psychology, control, desire, and eroding morality. Gameplay centers on managing resources (food, energy, materials), exploring a dangerous wasteland, and navigating complex branching relationships with each character. Your choices shape each family member's personality traits (submission, dominance, corruption), unlock new scenes and story branches, and determine how the group survives—or falls apart. The game features a stat-driven system where your interactions gradually shift trust, lust, and family corruption levels, unlocking darker and more explicit content as certain thresholds are crossed. The narrative emphasizes psychological and emotional transformation over external threats. How you lead the family, who you align with, and what moral lines you cross all determine which of multiple endings you reach. The game includes exploration sequences, resource management, character questlines tied to farmstead NPCs and survivor camps, and a robust cheat/progression system.
