Deathless

Editorial Worth it

Deathless is a supernatural romance visual novel that impresses players with its strong opening, compelling cast of love interests, and genuinely tense plot—a marked improvement over the developer's previous Depth's Revival series, which many found dragged and lost momentum midway. The art is consistently praised as excellent. However, early chapters suffer from poorly likable characters that take several releases to grow into their potential; players willing to push through that rough opening report the game hitting its stride afterward. Community sentiment is cautiously optimistic, with readers rooting for consistent updates and curious what happens to returning characters like Diane. The dev's divided attention across multiple projects (Deathless, Depth's Revival solo routes, and DR2) has bred some frustration about pacing, though the choice to revisit Deathless is seen by most as the right call.
