IMMortal is a sci-fi adult visual novel still in early development (v0.05 prologue), mixing mystery, dark themes, and character-driven storytelling. Community feedback is mixed but leans cautiously positive. Strengths include strong writing and character development (praised by players who finished available content), good music, and an intriguing setup with mystery elements and plot reveals. However, technical and presentation issues hold it back: numerous grammatical errors and typos (though the dev has released patches), dark lighting that strains on some monitors, and occasionally confusing scene transitions or narrative logic (flashbacks bleeding into dialogue, abrupt scene cuts). Character designs are somewhat repetitive (too many blonde LIs), and the developer inserting themselves as a character has rubbed some players the wrong way. The game shows promise for its niche audience but needs polish and clearer writing before it's ready for wider play.
