Description
Veil of Lies is a cyberpunk visual novel focused on narrative and emotional storytelling. Set in a world recovering from a devastating pandemic, the game follows the protagonist and their sister as they uncover the truth behind their father's mysterious disappearance. Years earlier, their father—a secret agent—discovered a dangerous conspiracy threatening both the world and his family, leading him to fake his death and go into hiding. The siblings, trained since childhood in combat and espionage, must navigate a world of conspiracies, betrayals, and impossible choices to find answers.
The narrative weaves together multiple storylines: a former hero scientist operating in secret to bring down a corrupt global government, and the siblings' own quest for truth. The game emphasizes character development and consequence-driven choices, presenting a tightly plotted thriller without open-world mechanics.
