Origin Story

Origin Story is a visual novel set twenty years after a global pandemic that granted superpowers to much of the adult population. You play as a customizable nineteen-year-old college student who, unlike his peers, has not yet manifested any abilities, leaving him socially isolated and still a virgin. After moving in with Parker Samson—a wealthy family friend and influential figure in metagen research—and her daughter Riley, your life takes a dramatic turn when you're attacked and rescued by The Sisterhood, an elite team of government-backed superheroines. The game follows your journey as you navigate college life, develop relationships with various women, uncover your own hidden potential, and become entangled in mysteries surrounding your past and The Sisterhood's true agenda. Central to the narrative is a major secret that will determine whether you become a hero or a villain. Gameplay is largely linear with some player choices that expand in significance as the story progresses, supported by static 3D renders and exploration sections that build out the game's world and lore.
