Description
Pennant Chronicle is a baseball simulation game modeled after Japanese professional baseball, featuring a fictional 12-team pennant race determined pitch-by-pitch. Rather than flashy 3D match displays, the game emphasizes deep mechanics where individual player abilities, pitch types, and characteristics directly influence outcomes—from pitch velocity and movement to hit speed and angle, factoring in stadium dimensions, weather, fatigue, and form. You take the role of GM and manager for one team, handling contract negotiations, free agency, trades, the draft (bidding, lottery, recruitment talks), scouting with evaluation margins, foreign player recruitment, staff selection, spring training, practice strategies, pitching rotations, and bullpen management. A single season of 143 games progresses in seconds, and you can follow specific matches via scoreboard, box score, or pitch-by-pitch text updates. As seasons accumulate, you build your own league history spanning decades, complete with records, retired players, hall of fame inductions, and generational shifts. Advanced baseball metrics (wOBA, wRC+, FIP, ERA+, UZR, WAR) are fully supported, alongside 63 player traits that create individual personality and style. The game supports extensive customization: teams, players, stadiums, and pitch types can all be edited, and player data can be imported via CSV.
