Editorial Meh
Nurashell Saga Eidolon is a short but ambitious premise: a couple afraid of physical intimacy use AI VR to explore their relationship, and get sex-swapped in the process. The setup—Leo and Ava's hesitant, emotionally grounded romance—has real potential, and players appreciate the thematic fit of VR as a safe space for vulnerability. However, the build is severely hampered by AI-generated artwork of notably poor quality, with frequent anatomical errors (malformed hands, impossible body configurations) that undermine immersion at every turn. The route structure is also unclear and apparently incomplete: the game claims there's a path to keep Ava female, but players report this "yet to implement," and the transformation's narrative weight is muddled—it's unclear whether the game explores the psychological shock and adjustment or skips past it. Community feedback is divided between those intrigued by the emotional core and those turned away by sloppy AI imagery and unfinished mechanics.
