Best Friends

Best Friends is an adult visual novel following two Geordie lads as they transition from school to university life. One character has been keeping a significant secret from his best friend, and the story explores what happens when this secret is revealed and how it tests their friendship. The narrative is told from multiple perspectives, allowing players to experience events through either friend's point of view. With a focus on story and character relationships over gameplay mechanics, the game features 3D character graphics, animation, and explores themes including trans and LGBTQ+ identities.
