Editorial Meh
Adult Shop Simulator is a very early-stage UE5 prototype, and community feedback reflects that: there is almost nothing to evaluate as a creative work yet. The handful of genuine impressions note that the art style is "certainly different" and the foundation is interesting, but reviewers are clear that there is little content to speak of and no real gameplay loop to judge. Opinion is not so much divided as simply absent — most interaction in the thread is questions, developer replies, and one-word reactions rather than substantive critique. On the technical side, the build has real issues: crashes on launch were reported by multiple users, particularly on Pascal-architecture GPUs under Linux with UE5's default high graphics settings. The developer has been responsive and pushed fixes, but instability on a non-trivial slice of hardware keeps this firmly in rough territory. For anyone curious about where the project is headed, it may be worth watching — but there is not enough here yet to render a meaningful verdict on quality.
