Editorial Has potential
Thrown to the Wolves is a transformation RPG with branching questlines where you navigate competing human and wolf factions, making choices that reshape the city's future. Community consensus is strongly positive: players praise the writing, character depth (especially NPCs like Nathaniel and Revan), and the genuine weight of moral choices across multiple playthroughs. The world-building and faction politics resonate well, with the "good wolf" form and its unique narrative potential drawing particular interest. However, the current build is visibly mid-development: the Mine area contains placeholder "content coming soon" messages and unfinished interactions; some quests lack full implementation; and minor bugs surface (softlocks, unintended transformation states, lag). The developer has explicitly paused new content to focus on a sister project, so expect slower updates. For players who can tolerate incomplete areas and engage with the narrative promise rather than a finished product, this is worth playing; for those wanting a fully polished experience, wait for v1.2's public release.
