Editorial Has potential
WE: Another World is a dual-world sandbox with real promise: players appreciate the nested-game concept, branching story choices, and the freedom to shape relationships—especially the sister route, which many find more compelling than the main girlfriend storyline. The creative work is solid, with responsive developers and genuine player investment in where the narrative goes. However, the current build is rough. The Android login screen softlocks, tutorial messaging relies on constant hint-checking rather than natural flow, and progression feels opaque—players routinely miss quest items or get stuck believing they've hit a dead end when they've simply overlooked a step. The sandbox structure, while logical to the developers, frustrates some who want story beats without inventory-management friction. Recent versions have fragmented the playerbase: each update requires a separate purchase on itch.io (unlike the bundled Patreon model), disappointing early backers. Community consensus is divided on NTR avoidability and the prominence of exaggerated character designs, but these are content-fit disagreements, not quality flaws. Expect to enjoy it, but patch your patience first.
