Thornfield University: Student X-Change Programme

Thornfield University is a text-based sandbox RPG set at a fictional American college. You play as a male student who receives a scholarship contingent on taking X-Change, a transformative pill that turns you into a woman for three years. Across six semesters, you must balance academics, employment, social connections, and a weekly service quota while navigating branching storylines and a deep consequence system. Your choices shape skill progression, relationships, and which of eight unique endings you reach. Gameplay combines traditional college life—attending classes, managing GPA, joining clubs and sororities—with a sophisticated service and job system. You can work various jobs from barista to cam girl to stripper, each with their own mechanics and story arcs. A detailed simulation tracks your physical and mental state: menstrual cycles, weight, hygiene, substance use, reputation axes, and corruption. Random events, seasonal storylines (Spring Break, Winter Formal, etc.), and character-driven arcs like blackmail and hypnosis conditioning weave narrative depth throughout. The game culminates in eight distinct endings reflecting your academic standing, reputation, and personal choices.
