Soft Reset is an open-world life simulation about a broke twenty-year-old man named Aiden Cole who enrolls in a pharmaceutical trial for quick cash. After taking an experimental pill, he wakes up as a woman and must navigate the realities of his transformed life—not the fantasy version, but the genuine experience of gender transition. The game explores both the mundane (finding clothing, adjusting to new social dynamics) and the intimate (discovering a transformed relationship with his own sexuality and body). It combines text-based narrative with AI-generated CG in a sandbox format that acknowledges multiple possible endings shaped by player choice.
