Oni Onsen

Oni Onsen is a fully voice-acted yaoi/bara visual novel set in feudal Japan. Samurai Asano, betrayed and dispossessed by warlord Sakuna, infiltrates a stolen family onsen seeking revenge. However, the bathhouse now harbors four oni—supernatural beings trapped in an ancient artifact by Mina, Sakuna's daughter. When the oni discover Asano is the last of the Hayashi family line, they recognize him as the only one who can break an ancient curse binding them to the onsen. According to legend, the curse lifts only when an oni wins the love—interpreted quite literally as sexual intimacy—of a family member. What begins as a mission of vengeance becomes entangled with four competing oni suitors and their desires. The game features 20 hours of largely kinetic narrative with 13 different endings across four romance routes, full voice acting for all major characters, and a poly-positive harem storyline. Players experience dramatic, touching, and quirky storytelling woven through the core adult content, alongside a bonus ninja romance subplot. The aesthetic draws from traditional Japanese themes with original soundtrack, hand-painted backgrounds, and detailed character artwork.
