Editorial Meh
Myth of Slayer has solid renders and an engaging harem premise that keeps a dedicated audience coming back, but the writing has become its critical weak point. Recent updates show severe problems with dialogue pacing and 'show, don't tell' storytelling—characters spell out every action and repeat information constantly, deflating combat tension and wasting narrative time. Compounding this are persistent technical issues: a find-and-replace accident left garbled words like "awacained" and character name swaps (Albert/Robert) still appearing, and the recent disabling of rollback has frustrated players who want to revisit scenes. The developer is reliable with release schedules and the sexual content lands well, but unless the script gets serious editing—cutting redundancy, respecting urgency in action scenes, and trusting the reader—the experience feels like padding dressed up as storytelling.
