Editorial Meh
Lens Lust is an early-stage AVN with a lighthearted premise—a protagonist gaining supernatural vision powers through magical glasses—and solid character writing that shows promise, especially in character dynamics like Mathilda's arc and comedic moments. The lewd animations are generally competent, and the core progression system engages players. However, the game struggles with execution: AI-generated cutscenes are noticeably rough and poorly-prompted, comedy doesn't always land, forced scenes frustrate players who value choice freedom, and technical issues persist (laggy animations, lighting bugs, character-rendering glitches, inconsistent dialogue formatting). At 0.2.2–0.2.3, it's clearly mid-development. The file size (~4GB for two chapters) is heavy due to AI assets. Players are divided—some enjoy the casual, non-serious tone and want to see where it goes; others find the humor misses and the limitations on player agency off-putting. Worth monitoring for future builds, but the current state is rough around the edges.
