Desirium

Editorial Worth it

Desirium is a stylish adult VN with polished visuals, strong character design, and a narrator that players find genuinely charming. Community consensus is solid: the writing, music, and art direction earn real praise, and the harem structure is confirmed optional—you can pursue solo routes with individual love interests. The main frustration is content velocity: players have been waiting over a year for public builds, and even the latest versions (0.12+) contain relatively modest sexual content for a game this far into development (around 10 hours of story, a handful of teasing scenes, one major sex scene as of 0.13). This isn't a quality problem—the writing and atmosphere are genuinely valued—but rather a case where the creative ambitions outpace the sexual content payoff some players expected. The build is stable and playable, though old save files don't carry forward between versions due to structural rewrites.
