The Veil is a supernatural romance VN with solid production values and genuine character appeal. Players consistently praise the visuals, animations, and atmospheric worldbuilding—the dream-logic premise and magical elements land well. However, the build is still rough: untranslated Russian text persists in dialogue and UI (especially phone notifications and pub scenes), scene-branching bugs force wrong dialogue to play back-to-back, and localization remains incomplete despite patches.
