Get Out of Bed is a story-driven adult visual novel centered on player choice and consequence. You arrive at the apartment of Seth, your customizable-relationship partner, who has isolated himself for weeks. Through dialogue and action, you shape the narrative by deciding how much empathy to show, which relationships to pursue—from serious romance to casual encounters—and which people in Seth's life to befriend or antagonize. The game explores heavy themes including mental health and suicide, with multiple branching paths and endings determined entirely by your choices.
