Editorial Has potential
Eli: The Unhuman is an atmospheric horror-tinged adult game with solid art direction and intriguing character design that has earned genuine enthusiasm from players. The core loop—managing encounters with mysterious visitors while building relationships—resonates well, and the replayability (randomized character appearances, multiple routes) is a clear strength. However, the game is still in early development (v0.0.5b demo), and this shows: the save system is obscure and unintuitive (requiring drinking milk from inventory), there's no scene gallery, cutscenes can't be skipped on replay, and the experience ends abruptly before many players reach the content they want. Community feedback is divided between those who love the foundation and want more urgently, and those frustrated by the demo's brevity and rough edges. The developer is active and planning substantial updates, which is encouraging—but right now, the unfinished state will test your patience.
