Canticle

Canticle is a story-rich fantasy visual novel where you take on the role of a newly recruited scribe at the Lucent Priory, a scholarly institution dedicated to collaborative magical research. You'll study alongside fellow initiates, build relationships with established members of the order, and navigate the complex politics and mysteries within the priory walls. The game features deep choice-based branching narrative where your decisions—including a customizable backstory and selectable skills—meaningfully shape story outcomes, character relationships, and available dialogue options. Multiple romance routes with male characters are available, alongside mystery elements and LGBTQ+ themes woven throughout the fantasy world-building.
