Tokyo Valkyries

Tokyo Valkyries is a roguelite deckbuilder set in modern Tokyo where university students lead double lives as warriors. By day they attend classes; by night they venture into the Underworld—a space created by Belzebia, a dark spirit whose conquest threatens to consume reality itself. Players join protagonist Haruka Fuchi and her allies as they craft decks and engage in strategic turn-based card combat to seal the Underworld and stop the invasion. The game combines deck-building strategy with character team composition. Combat revolves around playing attribute-based cards that trigger actions from your party members while predicting enemy moves displayed in advance. Outside battle, you navigate a branching map encountering various tile types—fights, shops, cafes, random events—and make tactical decisions about which cards and items to acquire. A unique mechanic involves pulling Cursed Swords to unlock characters' true powers and assign party leaders with special skills.
