Editorial Has potential
Take Me To The Dungeon is a roguelite deck-construction game that succeeds on both fronts: the card synergy system is genuinely engaging, with clever rune and Halo mechanics that reward experimentation, and the explicit H-content is well-integrated and high-quality. Players consistently praise the gameplay depth, reasonable difficulty curve, and the charming companion character Una, whose story arc gives the adventure real emotional weight. The game offers substantial replay value through multiple difficulty modes and a brutal post-game Abyss challenge, all at a bargain price point. However, the build shows signs of instability: save corruption has been reported even in late-game areas, and one reviewer encountered a hard crash mid-run. The narrative is sparse and sometimes tonally jarring—one Japanese player found the writing style uncomfortably dated—and a minority found the card discard mechanic (which forces you to banish a card permanently to reclaim your hand) frustrating rather than strategic. These are exceptions; most players engage deeply with the systems and feel well-rewarded. The recent updates through March 2025 suggest active support, but the save-data risk warrants caution.
