Timebound

Editorial Has potential

Timebound is an ambitious sci-fi harem visual novel with a time-travel premise and solid character writing that drew early praise for its branching choices and engaging cast. However, the project appears to be abandoned: the developer's Discord and Patreon have disappeared, and despite initial claims of a hiatus, no updates have materialized. Compounding this, version 0.2 and 0.3 (the latest build) are plagued by game-breaking minigame bugs—arm wrestling loops endlessly, and spot-the-difference often fails to register correct answers—that render progression impossible for many players. While the core narrative and character dynamics show promise, the combination of abandonment and a broken final build makes this a difficult recommendation despite its creative potential.
