The creative work clearly resonated: multiple players express real regret that it was abandoned, and the strongest criticism of the game itself is simply that there is not more of it. Unfortunately, almost every review is consumed not with the game's content but with the developer's conduct: abandoning ToS mid-development citing insufficient income, launching a follow-up set in the same universe, then abandoning that too before deleting Patreon, Discord, and Steam accounts.
