Editorial Meh
Sweet Harvest is a very early prototype (v0.1) built around a falling-fruit catching mechanic — essentially a twist on arcade catch-and-dodge gameplay with costume-unlock goals. Community feedback is extremely sparse and shallow at this stage, with most comments being brief congratulations rather than substantive critique. The one detailed review raises real design concerns: the health system is unforgiving, bomb spawns can overlap fruit in ways that feel unfair, the difficulty spikes sharply past 1000 points, and the basket movement may be too slow to keep up with the pace — all issues the developer will need to address as development continues. As a creative work, the concept is modest but coherent for its genre, and there is not enough community depth to judge art, writing, or character work meaningfully. What little exists suggests a functional kernel that needs significant polish before it can deliver on its promise.
