Editorial Has potential
Sneaky Witch is an ambitious platformer-stealth hybrid with genuinely clever level design and hidden secrets that reward exploration—but it's marred by poor guidance, frustrating balance, and unfinished presentation that makes it harder to enjoy than it should be. The core loop of dashing, wall-jumping, and evading a spawning demon works once you decode the unintuitive controls (a wall-jump requires simultaneous shift+space, and disabling camera-flip in settings is essential), and players who push past the learning curve praise the creative momentum-transfer tricks and the challenge of finding all twelve orb secrets. However, many hit a wall of difficulty spikes, softlocks, or simply give up because the game offers almost no hand-holding: no save system, no gallery unlocked by winning, no feedback that progress matters, and art assets so repetitive that secrets blend invisibly into the environment. The 3-4 NSFW scenes are present but deliberately minimal ("you can't even zoom in enough"), and finishing the game triggers nothing—a serious letdown for players who invested in the grind. Veteran puzzle-hunters and speedrunners will find a quirky, replayable gem; everyone else will likely bounce off the opacity and tedium before it clicks.
