Editorial Has potential
Mousetrap: Theft & Bondage is a stealth-based exploration game with strong artistic presentation — players consistently praise the graphics, character models, and animation quality. The core appeal is a blend of theft mechanics, costume/transformation roleplay, and sneaking past guards in a detailed hub area, with several multi-stage quest chains featuring different scenarios. However, the current build is severely hampered by absent save functionality, leaving players unable to persist progress beyond a session; combined with incomplete quest triggers, costume-equip bugs, camera breakage on NPC interaction, and confusing controls (the interact key is non-obvious, and mouse sensitivity is too aggressive), the game is difficult to play meaningfully right now. Community opinion on the content itself is positive where it exists, but most feedback focuses on pleading for a save system and reporting blockers rather than discussing what they've enjoyed. The project is confirmed active with updates planned, but the 0.16 version currently flagged is explicitly preview-only; only version 0.15 contains playable quest content.
