Editorial Has potential
Paper Peach's Letter is caught in a painful loop: a genuinely compelling concept—platforming skill directly tied to preventing NTR, with split-screen voyeur gameplay—buried under consistently broken execution. The core idea of earning coins through platforming to control what you witness is rare and thematically sharp, and the 3D art and animations are competent. But the platforming itself is the game's foundation, and it fails there repeatedly: inconsistent jump physics, unclear level design (unmapped layouts, hidden wall-runs, dead ends), a broken save system, fullscreen bugs, and controls that frustrate rather than reward skill. After years of restarts, remakes, and C&D dodging (from Paper Mario to Pepper and Beast variants), the dev shows more artistic ambition than technical discipline. The community is split between those still hopeful for a future version and those exhausted by the pattern of half-finished demos. In its current state, the game is rough—playable in bursts but unfinished and buggy enough to derail momentum.
