Shadowed Dimension is an ambitious possession-body-swap VN with a genuinely intriguing core mechanic: you inhabit other characters' bodies, discover their perspectives, and watch your own appearance shift in a bedroom mirror as corruption accumulates. The community appreciates the creative concept and is actively following development. However, the game currently suffers from real friction—dialogue fails to load in key scenes (forcing players to backtrack), the admin-rights demand for date/OBS detection feels like overkill and has deterred some players, and the design contains a hard softlock that refuses to let players progress if they make "wrong" choices, effectively trapping them mid-route. Recent versions (0.50+) have fixed many early bugs and are adding routes and features, but these core issues—especially the deliberate progression block—remain live problems worth knowing about before diving in.
