Description
A turn-based strategy game set in Japan's Sengoku period. You take the role of one of ten great daimyo—including the Oda, Takeda, Uesugi, and others—competing to unify the fragmented nation. Each turn you command a single army to conquer territory through warfare and diplomacy. The game features 38 named historical warlords with unique abilities (such as Takeda Shingen's "Wind, Forest, Fire, Mountain" and Uesugi Kenshin's "God of War"), horse-mounted tactics, and castle sieges. Success depends on reading the board, making optimal strategic decisions, and adapting to unpredictable events—harvests, earthquakes, epidemics, and revolts—that can reshape the power balance overnight. Diplomacy is as important as combat: recruit neutral forces, turn enemy generals, and forge alliances to secure your position. The game continues without turn limits until you control half the nation and the remaining warlords submit, or until your house is destroyed.
