Second Circle is an early-stage dungeon crawler with combat-focused gameplay, heavily featuring size fetish content (gigantism/shrinking). The premise—battle temptation checks tied to stats while managing soul drain—shows promise, but execution is hampered by frustrating design choices and an unfinished build. The core problem is balance: enemies deal massive damage, healing is nearly useless in combat, and character stats are randomized at creation with little meaningful control, forcing players into a grinding loop where leveling weakens you through soul drain while underpowered opponents dwindle your resources. Feedback splits between those who see potential in the framework and those burned out by difficulty spikes and punishing mechanics. The game also suffers from dialogue-light AI-animated sex scenes that feel more like filler than the draw—players note the scenes lack personality and weight compared to writing-driven encounters. Technically, the build crashes on some systems due to Ren'Py compatibility issues, navigation through dungeons is confusing, and basic features like free saving mid-run are restricted. If the developer tightens the balance, adds substantial writing to sex scenes, and fixes the technical foundation, there's a solid bones here; right now, it's a rough proof-of-concept that needs significant work.
