Editorial Has potential
Rent-a-Husband is an early-stage adult game with a novel premise—managing relationships as a hired companion—and players consistently praise its renders and character design. However, the current build is held back by rough execution: the pipe-minigame is widely criticized as frustratingly difficult and poorly-coded (hit detection appears broken), navigation is tedious, and essential features like a proper map or cellphone system are still missing. The developer is actively responding to feedback and has committed to fixes and new core systems in the next update. If you can tolerate an unfinished state and don't mind the minigame punishment, the creative foundation is solid enough to warrant a revisit once those systems land; for now, it's a work-in-progress that needs polish before it's comfortable to play.
