Rai & Kai's Awakening

Rai & Kai's Awakening is an explicit yaoi-focused visual novel and RPG hybrid set on the fantasy continent of Gaia. You play as Rai, a 23-year-old who has begun to awaken as a "Pleasure Faye"—a half-spirit, half-mortal being with the power to bestow blessings through seduction. Alongside his half-brother Kai (with whom he shares a competitive dynamic and a wager to seduce the most people), Rai must explore diverse locations, from the human city of Theospolis to the Canine Village and Zhoulu Mountains, finding people to seduce and gifts to give them. Gameplay combines exploration, relationship-building, and turn-based combat. As an Emotion-type Faye, Rai can purify corrupted Spirit Nests—dungeons that form due to negative emotions caused by Demon King attacks—which requires recruiting allies. The game features a large cast of diverse romantic and sexual encounters, including story-critical characters (like Rai's family) and optional side characters. Beyond seduction, Rai must hold various jobs and attend Athlos Academy to afford proper attire for different regions, all while progressing the main narrative across multiple chapters.
