Editorial Has potential
Project Hivemind is a complex, content-rich game that leans heavily into mind-control and body-transformation fetishes, wrapped in a sci-fi premise with multiple character routes and minigames. Players praise the sheer volume of content, the variety of fetish options (exhibitionism, humiliation, blackmail, transformation), and the well-executed AI artwork with looping animations; the gameplay loop of conditioning characters and unlocking routes resonates strongly with its audience. However, the game suffers from significant usability problems: the UI for route selection and operation triggers is confusing enough that multiple players report feeling stuck despite maxing stats, the "permanent" path warning creates decision paralysis, and the tutorial/guidance is inadequate for players unfamiliar with the mechanics. Mobile save resets and a few minor bugs (daytime scenes replaying at night, missing sound effects) round out the rough edges. For players who enjoy slow-burn corruption and transformation content, the depth is there—but expect a learning curve and some frustration before the systems click.
