Private Academy: Supercharged is an early-access action RPG built around 90s superhero-comic aesthetics and a cast of characters with preexisting backstories that hint at a wider world beyond the player's route. The art, character writing, and combat mechanics draw genuine appreciation; the dev is responsive and has been iterating for years. However, the current build is unstable: soft-locks, fight sequences that won't trigger, loading hangs, crashes during story beats, and pointer/shower-loop exploits are widely reported. Newer versions are more stable than older ones, but many testers still hit game-breaking bugs mid-playthrough. If you're patient with rough edges and willing to try earlier saves, the creative foundation is there; if you need a smooth, bug-free experience, wait for a later release.
