Editorial Has potential

NTR a Girlfriend is a Rent-a-Girlfriend parody that blends NTR and vanilla routes, giving players a choice in how the story unfolds. The dev has been transparent about pacing—tension builds deliberately, and not all characters have reached explicit content yet; Chizuru and a streamer character lead in progression, while others remain at foreplay. Community feedback divides along expected lines: NTR enthusiasts praise the story ambition and branching paths, while some vanilla-curious players find Chizuru's characterization (selfish, unmoved MC reactions) hollow without deeper romance. The current build is playable but mid-development; Day 8 has a known bug trapping players, and the demo's translation needs work, though the live version is further ahead. If you're drawn to the premise and enjoy the NTR/vanilla split conceit, there's substance here; if you want a complete, polished experience, wait for a later release.

Description

A visual novel and dating sim hybrid where you play as Kazuya, a struggling college student navigating relationships while juggling lies to his friends and family. You develop feelings for Chizuru, a rental girlfriend pursuing her dream of becoming an actress, while another girl also vies for your heart. The game blends narrative with light RPG elements—earn money through part-time jobs, buy gifts, and make choices that shape your path through branching storylines. Designed with both vanilla and NTR (netorare) routes, allowing players to explore multiple outcomes based on their decisions. Spend time on dates with the girls, raise affection levels, unlock events, and discover optional adult scenes through exploration. The game emphasizes player agency, with meaningful choices determining which ending you reach, ensuring neither route feels like an afterthought.
