The game follows your journey as you navigate college life, household relationships, and fragments of returning memory while deciding who you want to become. Gameplay revolves around free-roam exploration, meaningful conversations, and relationship building. Your choices shape the protagonist's personality and determine which encounters and dialogue options unlock. You can be thoughtful, confrontational, or risk-taking as you interact with neighbors, household members, and peers.
