Editorial Has potential
Lord of the Lost Throne is a fantasy management sim with alchemy, crafting, and character interaction at its core—and players who engage with that loop find it genuinely engaging. However, the game is currently plagued by material-gathering bugs, broken potion recipes, and resource-loss failures that force players to cheat or restart. Multiple reviewers report that brewing doesn't consume the stated ingredients, that some plants refuse to drop despite correct conditions, and that progress gates trigger incorrectly. The witch interaction text is heavy for some tastes, but the real barrier is that core systems are unreliable: gathering feels tedious without proper feedback, recipes malfunction, and the game can eat your resources without delivering the promised result. The creative foundation is sound enough that those who power through report satisfaction, but the current build needs serious stabilization before most players can reach that point.
