Locked Feelings is an early-stage adult VN about a college freshman navigating a city underworld while managing romantic entanglements. The renders are competent and the premise—dark intrigue mixed with relationship drama—has appeal for the genre. However, players consistently report that narrative choices feel hollow: unavoidable scenes with a starting girlfriend, stat-gating that ignores player decisions, and a fighting minigame with unclear controls and no skip option have frustrated multiple reviewers. The game is also rough around the edges—untranslated Russian text persists, UI elements are invisible by default (requiring trial-and-error discovery), and the free-roam navigation is confusing enough that some players get stuck early. The developer is active and communicative about post-release improvements, but the current build needs polish before it delivers a smooth experience.
