Editorial Has potential
Kingdom of Eldora: Way of the Prince is an early-stage gay visual novel with solid creative bones but an unfinished build. The prologue establishes an intriguing fantasy premise—a second prince seeking an ancient artifact to prove his worth—and players praise the worldbuilding, character design, and the protagonist's appeal. The writing shows promise, choices already shape the MC, and the developer is actively listening to feedback. The current version, however, is clearly mid-development. The interface conflates dialogue, internal thoughts, and narration without clear separation; the save system is absent; UI elements (clickable items, taskbar overlap, cursor) need refinement; and the sex scene feels mechanically functional rather than compelling. The developer has publicly committed to addressing most of these issues in Episode 1 (planned late Feb/early March), including a revamped interface, proper save system, and more varied partners. For now, this is a promising proof of concept rather than a finished experience.
