Interim Crossroads

A visual novel with choices and consequences set in the Middle World, a purgatory dimension where souls go after death to atone for their wrongs. You play as Julius, a newly arrived soul with no memories of his Earth life, tasked with seeking forgiveness from those he wronged while uncovering the mystery of his past. Navigate the politics and dangers of this cyberpunk-tinged twilight realm, build trust and relationships with various individuals, and pursue one of three romantic interests as your fate intertwines with theirs. Your choices shape your character through three attributes—Virtue, Callosity, and Defiance—which unlock dialogue options and determine one of sixteen possible endings.
