I Hate This Armchair Detective

Banshō Okōchi is a self-interested rationalist who attends school while providing daily meals to Toto, a detective who sleeps constantly and would starve without care. When Banshō witnesses a man whose body has been severed in half on his commute, only to see the same man walking unharmed the next morning, he suspects Toto of causing the impossible event. Though Toto has no knowledge of the incident, he offers to help Banshō by conducting an investigation into this strange occurrence. The game follows their detective work as they uncover the truth behind supernatural phenomena, with Toto's perfect deductive abilities pitted against mysteries that defy rational explanation. A third personality within Toto emerges in moments of crisis, wielding various powers to resolve dangerous situations.
