Editorial Has potential
Humans Are Not That Against Lizardwomen 2 is a visual novel with match-3 puzzle gameplay, set in a comedic alternate-history universe where humans and lizard-folk attempt to coexist. The story expands on the first game with multiple branching routes, improved art and animation, and Russian voice acting that players consistently praise. However, the sequel feels rushed: audio mixing is inconsistent (dialogue volumes fluctuate wildly between characters), some UI text remains untranslated, and occasional graphical glitches appear on both PC and handheld. A handful of scenes were removed, likely due to regional restrictions. The match-3 gameplay remains unchanged from part one—a core design choice that some find tedious as filler between story beats, while others accept it as light padding. Opinion divides sharply: fans of the series and its meme-heavy Russian cultural references consider it a solid continuation worth buying on sale; newcomers and those burnt out on the puzzle mechanic should wait for a deeper discount or skip it entirely.
