Guest House is an adult visual novel set in a boarding house in the far east. After arriving for an exchange program, you move into lodgings owned by an enigmatic woman who is in a long-distance relationship with you. The game focuses on developing relationships with the other residents—an idol trainee navigating her debut, a business major managing an internship at a struggling love hotel, an investigative writer working on her next novel, and a carefree college dropout—each with distinct personalities and storylines. Gameplay involves making choices that affect character affection levels, determining whether you befriend, date, or romance each resident, with multiple endings based on your decisions. The narrative emphasizes intimate late-night conversations, confessions, and deepening connections as you settle into daily life at the Guest House.
