Desolate Escape

Desolate Escape is a post-apocalyptic survival game set in a zombie-infested world. You wake up in a deserted city overrun by the undead, with a single goal: build an engine to escape this nightmare environment. The game features resource gathering across ten diverse locations—city, subway, forest, abandoned factory, and others—each with unique challenges and rewards. Core mechanics include a crafting system to construct engine parts from collected materials like wood and iron, cooking over campfires to manage hunger, dynamic day/night cycles that affect gameplay, and detailed inventory management tracking resources, health, and time. Your visible character, depicted in a button-down coat, navigates the landscape through a map-based travel system as you adapt strategies to each environment's requirements.
