Editorial Has potential
Crimson Sand is a sci-fi detective thriller with a bi-friendly approach that lets players meaningfully shape the protagonist's relationships and sexual choices—including the option to avoid sex entirely. Community feedback highlights strong character writing and genuine narrative intrigue: players genuinely want to know what happens next, and they appreciate that the story doesn't force sex scenes or lock you into a particular orientation. The mechanical execution, however, is uneven. Text presentation is cluttered (missing punctuation, dialogue attribution errors, cramped text boxes), character faces often look expressionless, and sex scenes feel functional rather than engaging. Frequent flashbacks interrupt pacing. The build is playable and content-complete for a mid-stage release, but these rough edges notably undercut otherwise solid creative work—a story worth following despite technical friction.
