Appetizers

Appetizers is a growth-themed tactics game blending resource management with Fire Emblem-style combat. You lead a caravan of six heroines across fifteen story chapters, cooking meals at camp between battles that determine how each character grows in size and power. The game features a unique mechanic where physical size directly affects combat — larger characters hit harder and occupy more space on the tilted, rotatable map, while buildings have hit points that giants can destroy. Each heroine progresses through multiple tiers, unlocking new forms and signature attacks with full animations at each stage. The game combines strategic turn-based battles (with hit rates, critical strikes, and a Force/Shot/Spell triangle) against progressively larger enemies and environmental destruction. Between chapters, you interact with your crew, cook dishes that influence their growth paths, and customize loadouts. The narrative spans three zones (Appetizer, Soup, Fish) with player choices that shape progression. Story-driven content culminates in optional high-difficulty Punishing mode after completion, alongside a gallery showcasing every unlocked form at true scale.
