Editorial Has potential
Yoruhana shows real promise in its artwork and voice direction, with a distinctive cartoon style that players find immediately appealing. However, the current build is severely hamstrung by a bewildering control scheme—keyboard bindings that deviate sharply from genre standard (INS key to pick up items, non-standard menu navigation) that reviewers describe as painful and confusing. The game itself is in very early stages, offering only 2–10 minutes of playable content; some planned features (horror tag, additional kinks) have been tagged and removed, signaling mid-development. Player sentiment is cautiously optimistic about the creative direction, but frustration with controls and the slow, multi-project development pace of the studio dominates feedback. Community chatter also reflects broader skepticism about the business model of prolonged Patreon-funded development.
